Cloud services allow users to access and utilize IT resources over the Internet rather than having the same resources on board or attached to their local computer system or network. These resources can include practically any facet of information technology, from server to storage (physical and virtual) and even applications.
Virtualization refers to enabling a physical resource to perform in a manner that is different than its physical attributes or functionality. For example, this can mean making a single server behave as though it’s many servers, making many servers behave as though they are one, or making a server or servers perform the functionality of servers with different capabilities. Virtualization allows for a much more efficient utilization of infrastructure.
Server virtualization allows unprecedented optimization of an IT environment through several unique capabilities.
There is a misperception that virtualization decreases security. Virtualization actually can increase the safety and privacy of information by separating various applications and services, creating an additional level of security.
"nxtra Cloud” is an agile cloud infrastructure built on cloud stack designed to provide rapid access to security-rich, enterprise-class managed virtual server environments, well suited for all kinds of dynamic workloads including test & development, web-based applications, internet facing websites and high performance computing
Nxtra Cloud Services are available globally and are hosted at multiple data centers in India. Nxtra will continue to expand operations based upon customer demand and regional requirements.
Resources such as CPU, RAM, storage and public IP address are termed as Cloud server resources. These resources are used to configure and customize a cloud server as per customer requirement.
OCRM uses encryption keys extensively for its functioning. It uses a separate encryption key for starting
and restarting its services. We use JSON Web Token (JWT) that defines a compact and self-containedway for securely transmitting information between parties as a JSON object. This information can be
verified and trusted because it is digitally signed.
JWTs can be signed using a secret (with the HMAC algorithm) or a public/private key pair using RSA.
Networks traffic in CloudPlatform is divided in four types, namely:
Cloudstack networking uses SDN openvswitch and the concept of tags, through which it manages all the traffic, thereby securing the management and storage traffic from the tenant traffic (guest and public).
Nxtra Cloud 2.0 will available initially from Mumbai followed by Delhi NCR & Bengaluru
